In the October 2 issue of the Tartan, an article ran about Virginia21 and TurboVote. A few things were recently brought to our attention in correction from the article.
In the article, it says that Virginia21 is run by an organization of “Voice of the Generation” which in fact that is the tag line of their organization, not who they run under.
Although TurboVote lists online that it normally costs $1.60 per form or $5 for all the mailings you would need for the year, Virginia21 has made an investment in TurboVote to benefit all of the students in Virginia’s public colleges and universities. Virginia21 made it possible for students across the state to receive all the information they need free. The above costs listed on TurboVote’s page would not apply to students through the website at www.radford.turbovote.org.
