Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis star in this political comedy about a North Carolina Congressional election. The Campaign is a parody of American politics, and shows its moral flaws through image, bribery, and how families are affected by always being in the public eye.

Cam Brady (Will Ferrell), a long-term congressman running for re-election has no worries about being voted back in, considering he was the only congressman running.  That was until a pair of wealthy cigar smoking CEOs plot to put up a rival candidate and influence over the North Carolina district.  Their choice was Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis), a man that swore by family, pugs, and knitted sweaters.

Although it seems that Marty is the most unlikely candidate to be chosen by the people of North Carolina, his merciless campaign manager turns his life upside down and he soon becomes a contender who gives the confident Cam Brady an election to worry about.

In this hilarious comedy they take a serious topic of politics and make it comical.   With all of the rant and raves of the presidential election coming up, it was the perfect time to shed a little humor on the political scene.
