We prefer letters that are fewer than 200 words and take as their starting point an article or other item appearing in The Tartan. They may not have been submitted to, posted to or published by any other media. We ask that letters include the writer’s full name — letters written anonymously or under pseudonyms raise transparency and credibility concerns. We choose to run anonymous or pseudonymous letters at our discretion and may ask for attribution. For verification purposes, they must also include the writer’s e-mail address and phone number. Letters will be edited and used at the discretion of the editor-in-chief for length, style and clarity. Authors’ individual editorials do not necessarily reflect the opinion of The Tartan staff members or Radford University.
