Ever looking for something new, fresh, and absolutely delicious? Look no further than the west end of town.
Latino’s Taste is a Salvadoran restaurant located less than a half mile passed Sal’s on the left.
At 1126 W Main St., food is offered fresh and delectable. The restaurant doubles as an ethnic grocery store.
They sell different drinks, candies, and ingredients. The prices are fairly cheap and have some items you can’t find other places.
With a chalkboard menu telling customers what is available to order that day, food is served quickly with a smiling face.
You order your food and take a seat in the next room with tables and authentic decorations.
The food is not only served hot in very large portions, but a lot of the ingredients are extremely fresh. The homemade salsa is just one of the major bonuses.
The tables are filled with a variety of hot sauces, all distinctive levels of heat.
Don’t let it fool you; the small burrito is big enough to satisfy a large male without being hungry again for a while.
It includes your choice of meat, rice, beans, cheese, fresh tomatoes and herbs.
The vegetarian dish could easily please anyone, especially those who try to stay away from meat. It’s a dish covered in rice with a layer of beans, cheese, and fresh picante with a side of homemade salsa. You can add a side of sour cream if your taste buds please.
The dish is large enough to fill you and take home half of it. Along with those you can get fried plantains, homemade guacamole and tacos.
If you are looking for something new to try, this is definitely the place for you.
I recommend Latino’s Taste to everyone, especially college students. They have wonderful food with affordable prices.
Get out there and support local family owned restaurants who use fresh ingredients and take care of their customers!
